Travel Insurance for New Zealand

There are a number of reasons why it's essential to take out travel insurance to travel to New Zealand.

Firstly, health care in NZ is a paid system like in America, so if you need to nip for a general appointment with a GP or have a serious accident, you or your insurance company will foot the bill. This can cost anywhere from £30 to £30,000!

Secondly, New Zealand is known as the adrenaline capital of the world. This is great for having a good time but not so good if something goes wrong. You should make sure you get covered for adventure sports in case any problems arise.

Thirdly, as with any travel trip, you should be covered in case anything doesn't go to plan. Make sure you are covered in case of missed departure and delay. If you are taking any expensive items find out if they will be covered. Be aware of any excesses and if they will affect your ability to claim.
